The MG TA is a two-seat open car with a steel body on an ash frame. It has a typical MPJG OHV unit from the Wolseley 10 but with twin SU carburettors, modified camshaft and manifolding.
The power output is 50 hp at 4,500 rpm. The four-speed manual gearbox has synchromesh on the two top ratios. It is capable of reaching nearly 80 mph (130 km/h) in standard tune with a 0–60 mph time of 23.1 seconds. Hydraulic brakes were also fitted on this model.
Just over 3,000 examples were made of this model, which is today considered VERY RARE.
Enough to say that this car is CONCOURS. A GREAT INVESTMENT FOR THE SERIOUS BUYER.
